Easter Seals is a charity that is near and dear to our hearts on so many levels.
Thanks to your generous donations and all our fabulous volunteers, Easter Seals does a great job helping kids with disabilities live life to their full potential and empowers children to achieve their dreams. Whether it’s mobility equipment or a few weeks at the incredible Easter Seals Camps, the kids experience life-changing experiences. Finding new ways to raise money for our local kids with disabilities was a huge goal for us when we decided as a company to start focusing our fundraising efforts towards helping this great cause.
Event details coming soon for 2024!
The Century 21 Millennium Hockey Gala Dinner event is an idea that came from attending a Conn Smythe event in Toronto a few years back. Kevin Woolham had often participated in the Easter Seals Hockey tournaments but when he attended the Conn Smythe Celebrity Dinner event, he knew he had to bring it to Collingwood!
We always knew we were a hockey town but to have our first inaugural Century 21 Millennium Celebrity Gala event sell out AND surpass our goal of raising $100,000 for Easter Seals that night was an accomplishment we will never forget. We look forward to learning from it, growing it, and making sure it’s an event you want to attend year after year.
CENTURY 21 Canada is one of the world’s largest residential real estate sales organizations, and Easter Seals is CENTURY 21 Canada’s charity of choice. For over 40 years, CENTURY 21 Canada® – its Network members, family and friends, and clients and partners – have shown a lot of love for Easter Seals Canada through its C21 Kids to Camp Program, which strives to raise funds to help send kids and youth living with disabilities across the country to Easter Seals’ accessible summer camps.
Since 1979, CENTURY 21 Canada has raised more than $12 million in support of local Easter Seals organizations and has provided the opportunity for over 5,750 children and youth to enjoy and benefit from transformative and affirming experiences at Easter Seals camps, where they can have fun, push their boundaries in a safe and supportive environment, build and strengthen skills, and cultivate friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
In 2015, CENTURY 21 Canada and Easter Seals Canada launched the C21® Kids to Camp Club, an exclusive “Club” of CENTURY 21 Canada Network members who raise $2,100 in a calendar year to send kids living with disabilities to Easter Seals summer camps across the country. In its inaugural year, the C21® Kids to Camp Club welcomed 35 Members and that number has steadily grown over the years!
To gain membership into the Club, Network members engage in a variety of fundraising efforts, some of which include The Easter Seals Drop Zone, and Closing Gifts for Kids Program—where for every purchase or sale of a property, Network members commit to donating $21 to Easter Seals in their client’s name. Closing Gifts for Kids allows CENTURY 21 Network members to thank their clients for their business while helping to send kids with disabilities to Easter Seals summer camp.
